Alhumdulillah -  All praise be to God

Eight weeks ago, Noor Kids released its first book, ‘School is Out for the Summer’. With no experience in professional writing or publishing, Mohammed and I realized that a generation of little Muslims in North America were missing a vital component in literature – a sense of belonging.

As our second issue hits the press, we reflect on feedback that we received with an incredible sense of appreciation. All praise is certainly due to God, it is due to his blessings that Noor Kids has amounted to what it is today. We are fortunate to be in his graces and commit to continue pursuing our mission in his sake.

While we still have a long way to go, we are enthusiastic about the strong initial support we have received – in the first six weeks alone, we were able to put Noor Kids into the homes of over 1,000 children in five countries!
